Privacy Policy
Last updated: 23 July 2026
Inspectique (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides outsourced property inspection services to real estate agencies across Perth, Western Australia. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through inspectique.com, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. By using our website or submitting a form to us, you agree to the practices described below.
1. What Information We Collect
- Enquiry & booking details: When you submit a form on our site (via our Forminator-powered enquiry, quote, or booking forms), we collect information such as your name, email address, phone number, agency/company name, job title, property address(es), and any details you provide about the service you’re enquiring about.
- Email subscription details: If you subscribe to our newsletter or opt in for offers, we collect your name and email address via MailerLite.
- Promotional entries: If you participate in a competition, referral programme, or promotional offer (e.g. our Easter Egg Hunt, Refer, Earn, Repeat programme, or Agency Champion Reward), we collect the information needed to verify eligibility and issue any reward, including your name, agency, professional role, and contact details.
- Automatically collected data: Like most websites, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site (e.g. pages viewed, time on site, general location, device/browser type). This data is generally aggregated and not directly identifiable.
- Popup interactions: Our site uses Boxzilla to display offers (e.g. discount codes) — if you enter your email through a popup, this is collected the same way as any other subscription above.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Responding to enquiries: We use the details you submit to respond to your enquiry, provide quotes, and discuss your requirements.
- Following up and ongoing contact: Where you make an enquiry or booking request, we may follow up with you afterwards — including if we don’t hear back — to check whether you’d still like to proceed, to answer further questions, or to let you know about relevant services. We do this because we consider a genuine enquiry to reflect interest in hearing from us further, but you can ask us to stop this at any time (see Section 6, “Your Rights and Choices”).
- Service delivery: If you or your agency book a service with us, we use your contact details to coordinate the booking, communicate scheduling, and deliver the relevant report or service.
- Marketing communications: If you’ve subscribed to our newsletter or opted into an offer, we may send you updates, promotions, or relevant industry content. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link.
- Competitions and rewards: If you participate in a promotional programme, we use your information to verify eligibility, track progress toward any milestone, and deliver any reward you’re entitled to.
- Improving our website and services: Aggregated, non-identifying analytics data helps us understand how our site is used and where we can improve it.
3. Who We Share Your Information With
- We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
- Service providers: We use trusted third-party platforms to operate our business, including:
- MailerLite — for managing email newsletters and marketing communications;
- Forminator — for processing website forms and enquiries;
- Boxzilla — for displaying on-site popups and offers;
- Google Analytics — for website usage analytics;
- Google reCAPTCHA — to help protect our forms from spam and abuse;
- Google Ads — where we run online advertising, to help us reach relevant audiences and measure ad performance (only applicable during periods where we are actively advertising);
- Hostinger (or our current hosting provider) — for hosting our website and associated data.
- These providers may store data on servers located outside Australia. Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information continues to be handled in a manner consistent with this Policy.
- Google’s use of data: Where we use Google products such as Analytics, reCAPTCHA, or Ads, Google may process data (such as your IP address and browsing activity) in accordance with its own privacy policy, available at policies.google.com/privacy.
- Real estate agencies: If you are the subject of an inspection (e.g. a tenant or property occupant), any inspection report is provided to the instructing real estate agency only — not to any other third party — as part of our contracted service to that agency.
- We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
4. Cookies & Website Analytics
- Our website uses cookies and similar technologies, primarily through Google Analytics, to understand how visitors use our site and to help us improve it.
- We use Google reCAPTCHA on our forms to help prevent spam and automated abuse. reCAPTCHA may collect information such as your IP address and browsing behaviour to assess this.
- During periods where we are running online advertising, we may use Google Ads cookies (including remarketing) to show relevant ads to people who have visited our site, and to measure how our advertising is performing.
- These cookies do not collect sensitive personal information and are generally used in an aggregated, non-identifying way.
- You can control or disable cookies at any time through your browser settings, and can opt out of personalised Google advertising via Google Ads Settings. Doing so may affect some website functionality but will not prevent you from accessing our core content.
5. Data Storage & Security
- We take reasonable steps to protect the personal information we hold from misuse, interference, loss, unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure.
- We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this Policy, or as required by law (e.g. for tribunal-related reporting obligations under the Residential Tenancies Act 1987 (WA)).
6. Your Rights and Choices
- Unsubscribe: You can opt out of marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email, or by contacting us directly.
- Stop follow-up contact: If you’d prefer we don’t follow up on an enquiry, let us know and we will note this and stop further contact regarding that enquiry.
- Access & correction: You can request access to the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct any inaccurate information, by contacting us (see Section 8).
- Complaints: If you have concerns about how we’ve handled your personal information, please contact us in the first instance. If you’re not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
7. Changes to This Policy
